AT&T digital cable
The AT&T Digital Life Ethernet Power Adaptors provide a non-wireless alternative to stringing network cables to all the rooms in the house. They are used with your existing in-wall power line to connect an indoor camera in a distant room. Note that two power adaptors are required.
An authorized AT&T Digital Life Technician will initially install your cameras and Ethernet power adaptors. If you decide to purchase additional Digital Life cameras, please use these instructions to install your power adaptor.
Insert an Ethernet cable into the adaptor.
Plug the Ethernet adaptor into a wall outlet. A solid green light on the adaptor indicates a good connection. See the guide to status lights below for additional information.
Connect the other end of your Ethernet cable as shown below.
Guide to Status Lights
The Digital Life Ethernet power adaptor has three green indicator lights (Power, PLC, and Ethernet) and two buttons:
- Security: Used for security pairing between devices.
- Factory Default Reset: Used for resetting the device to the factory default settings.
