Time Warner cable digital Adapter
Time Warner Cable's move to “All-Digital” services promising “faster Internet, better picture and sound, and more reliability, ” comes at a price and a deadline.
Customers connecting their cable through a wire from the wall to a television will need new equipment by April 12.
The digital adapters are free until June 29, 2017. After that, the use of each adapter will add $3.25 to your bill.
The All-Digital changes for Central New York go into effect on April 12 and customers are being told to order digital adapters as soon as possible “to avoid losing your TV picture.”
TWC spokesperson Nathalie Burgos says the use of a digital adapter will not affect the number of channels customers already receive.
The digital adapters will work with any model or brand of television, according to Burgos.
If you already have digital equipment such as a set-top box, these changes will not interrupt your service or increase your monthly bill.
